2006 Jasper National Park - Pure Silver $20 Coin (TAX Exempt)
Come explore the soaring mountains, active glaciers and rugged backcountry of Jasper National Park. Founded in 1907, this vast 10,878 sq km (4,200 sq mi) park looks much like it did when European explorers and fur traders first moved through the area hundreds of years ago.
Here, herds of elk, bighorn sheep and the endangered woodland caribou still range. Despite summer s warmth, numerous peaks remain white with snow while glaciers from the last ice age pour in slow motion from the heights.
Ancient legends echo in the valleys below, beckoning visitors to countless sites and across some 1,300 km (808 mi) of trails.
Crafted in the superior sculpting that has distinguished this captivating collection of 99.99% fine silver coins, the 2006 $20 Silver Coin Jasper National Park features Mount Edith Cavell, one of the park s most recognized peaks as well as a favoured way to explore the backcountry on horseback.
