DESCRIPTION
Ontario's Provincial 25-cent coin depicts two Jack pines surrounded by scattered rocks which have survived a bitter climate, a unique image of Ontario's rugged landscape left behind by the glaciers. Ontario, Canada's most populous and second largest province, was amoung the first four provinces to form the Dominion of Canada on July 1, 1867.
