Tax Policy

At West Edmonton Coin & Stamp, we understand that collectible coins and numismatic items are valuable investments. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance to protect your purchase during transit.
Why Purchase Insurance?
Collectible coins, rare currency, and numismatic items can be high-value products. While we take great care in packaging all orders securely with protective materials, we cannot control what happens once your package leaves our facility.
Important: WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED PARCELS DURING TRANSIT. If you wish to protect your purchase, please add shipping insurance at checkout.

Filing a Claim
If you purchased shipping insurance and need to file a claim:

- Submit photos of any damage
- We will assist you with the insurance claim process
- Contact Canada Post and provide your order number and tracking information, and then, submit a claim there as well.
Uninsured Packages:
If you choose not to purchase insurance, you assume all risk for loss, theft, or damage during shipping. We cannot offer refunds, replacements, or compensation for uninsured packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
Our Recommendation:
For orders containing rare coins, high-value collectibles, or items of significant personal or monetary value, we strongly encourage adding shipping insurance for your peace of mind.

HOW TO TRACK YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information.
