SPECIAL FEATURES
- Includes a selectively coloured version of the 2019 Proof Dollar, struck in 99.99% pure silver that is only available as part of this set.
- On the proof dollar, the reverse image features a first-person view of the Canadian landings at Juno Beach on June 6, 1944 (D-Day), while dots and dashes represent the letter V (for “Victory”) in Morse code.
- While the 2019 Proof Dollar focuses on the young soldier, this selectively coloured version places the focus on a gesture that is also part of the story. It is a poignant reminder of the cost of war and the sacrifices made.
